Lot’s of things going on
There are so many things happening to me last couple of weeks. First I participated in WinDays9 conference (report 1, report 2), last week I went to Switzerland to visit CERN, and this week started with Imagine Cup state finals. Finals were held at my college, because team from college were winners last year. They have failed to defend their title, because they were second this year, behind team “Explorer” from Varazdin and ahead of team “SmartWall” from Zagreb.
There were more than 100 supporters that came today to support teams, and everything went well. “Lost in time” team was little bit disappointed, but that’s life…
- Tomorrow (hm… it’s already today
) I’ll go to Zagreb to participate at Career day. I don’t actually need I job because I’m already overloaded with tasks, but I’m organizer of the bus that’s driving students from Split to Zagreb, so I have to go.
- From Friday to Sunday I’ll travel to Dubrovnik, to participate at IAESTE (student’s association) national convention. Also, on Friday there will be very first Microsoft Community meeting in Dubrovnik, and I’m gonna be the only speaker delivering two lectures: Windows Server 2008 news and Windows Server 2008 safety technologies. I’m very proud to be the first speaker at MSCommunity event(s) in Dubrovnik, and I hope I’ll continue delivering lectures at MSCommunity events all around Croatia.
- Windows 7 RC is here, I downloaded it, but I don’t have some free time to install it, but I’ll do it ASAP.
- Windows Server 2008 R2 RC is also here, I downloaded it, and installed it. For now everything works just fine, except the fact that I still don’t know how to enable my wireless card. OS recognized the card, but I can’t enable it. It always says that card is disabled. If you know how to fix this Windows Server 2008 R2 RC wireless card problem, please post it in comments.
- Finally I got my MSDN Premium card. I got it because I’m Microsoft student partner, and now I can download all Microsoft’s programs legally and without and limitation. Cool
.
I think that’s it. I am very tired because last few days I traveled a lot, and I have some many tasks to do and I don’t know which tasks to start solving first
. But I’ll survive.
