MSP Croatia team building
This weekend, Microsoft Student Partners from Croatia had team building in Stubicke toplice resort. I was also one of student partners who was there, and I have to say it was the best team building I ever had. I went there with four other student partners from Split, and together with around 30 other MSPs we had great weekend. We came to our hotel at Saturday at 12:00. After lunch, we had a afternoon filled up with lectures and workshops.
I also gave a short 15 minutes lecture about most important new features in Windows Server 2008. Of course, 15 minutes was not enough to talk about virtualization, Windows Server Core and Network Access Protection
. After short break, and prize game (my team was last
), we had workshop, where our
task was to give our suggestions on certain fields in MSP program. Task from my team was to give suggestions for Live@EDU, application for colleges using Live platform. I was surprised when I saw other teams and their great presentations and comments, and I think that after this Microsoft Student Partner program and Microsoft Academics program in general will be much more efficient.
In the evening, of course, we had some fun going out in the disco, but that’s another story
.
In Sunday morning, I got up little bit later because I forgot to turn on my alarm clock, so I missed football match between MSPs and Developer and Platform Evangelism (DPE) team. But I had enough time to go to open swimming pool and sauna
. And that was it.
Overall, this was great weekend for me, and for all Microsoft student partners from Croatia. We have learn something new, made new connections and friendships, and I hope we gonna have another team building very soon. Marko, Ratko?
