Report from KulenDayz
Last night I came back from Kulen Dayz, conference organized by Microsoft community from Osijek. I was organizer too, my job was to setup gaming zone and to take care of all gaming equipment. It was easy job, everything was OK except two flying bugs (little toys that look like bugs, you control their flight with remote controler) landed into the water, and they don’t work anymore
.
On Friday I watched a football match Croatia-Turkey (and was very sad), on Saturday we had day filled up with great lessons, but I attended only 1,5 lessons. First one was lesson about Hyper-V by Arlindo Alves, ITPro Evangelist at Microsoft Belgium, and I came for the second part of Unified Communications by Tomislav Bronzin. For whole day we were having fun in gaming zone playing Guitar Hero 3 and playing old games on simulator. And we had some robots, flying bugs and table soccer.
At the evening we had great dinner at authentic village near hotel.
On Sunday we went to river and took a ride with canoes. For lunch we visited authentic village, tried some domestic meals and that was it. For closing ceremony we organized a prize game, and I won Windows Server 2008, Visual Studio 2008, SQL Server 2008 one year trial versions
.
At the bottom line, I had great weekend with guys from Microsoft Croatia (Darko and Marin), organizers Bernard Katic and Dean Vitner, Arlindo and other guys from MS Community Croatia.
For now I have uploaded only 3 pictures, I’m gonna add more pictures tomorrow.
