    First report from TechEd

Hi everyone. As you know from my previous post, I am at the TechEd for developers conference in Barcelona. Darko Jovisic from Microsoft Croatia and me came to Barcelona on Sunday. After checking-in in hotel, we went to register for the conference. Every delegate gets a bag for laptop, and inside there is some promotional materials from partners, pen and t-shirt. Comparing to bag that I received at Windays conference in Croatia, I got nothing.

At Windays conference, I got bag full of gadgets (like Bluetooth earphones) so I was little bit disapointed when I saw this bag. And I was hoping to get a backpack (because I need it), but this year they are giving bag for laptops (and I have few of them :-( ). After that, we went for a lunch, walk and we went to bed at 20:30 because we were so tired.

On Monday morning we went to Guell park and in the ZOO, because we had plenty of time till keynote that started at 14:00. At keynote, Jayon Zender, General Manager, Visual Studio, Developer Division, introduced Visual Studio 2010 and it’s new features. And of course, demo could not pass without crash of Visual Studio :-) . It is still in pre-alpha, so I forgive him :-) . After keynote, I went to lecture about Windows Azure because I am very interested in that platform. In the evening, in exibition hall, I participated in some prize games, trying to win laptop, Ipod… Now I’m waiting for the results.

Today, at 17:15, student partners from all around Europe have meeting. I’m very exited to meet student partners from other countries and to share experience with them.

That’s all for now, in next few days I have plant to see more of Barcelona, like Camp Nou stadium, cathedral, museums…
