Student Technology Day
On Tuesday, March 10th, Microsoft Student Partners from my college are organizing first Student Technology Day in Croatia. The purpose of this event is to present newest technologies to students, and show them how they work. This is first Student Technology Day in Croatia ever, and as project manager I hope it is going to be successful and useful for students. We have 5 great sessions + keynote, held by Microsoft Student Partners, Microsoft MVPs from Split and Microsoft employees. Every lecture must follow 3 simple rules:
- No marketing, just technology
- Technology, technology, technology
- Every lecture must have demo, how to or step-by-step which shows implementation of that specific technology
This is agenda in English:
11:15 – 12:00 Keynote
Ilija Brajkovic, Ratko Mutavdzic, Tomislav Tipuric
12:15 – 13:00 ASP.NET Starter Kits
Tomislav Tipuric, Technology Specialist, Microsoft Croatia
13:15 – 14:00 Why to program when you can generate?
Ivan Šaškor, Cygnus, Microsoft MVP and Marko Matijevic, Cygnus
14:15 – 15:00 Silverlight
Ivan Macek, Microsoft Student Partner and Marko Matijevic
15:15 – 16:00 Windows Server 2008 safety technologies
Ilija Brajkovic, Microsoft Student Partners Lead
16:15 – 17:00 JQuery-Fu
Vladan Strigo, Development Director, Netmedia, Microsoft MVP
As you can see, I will also give a lecture, and I’m gonna talk mostly about Network Access Protection and Windows Server 2008 Core, but I’ll save a few words for Read-only domain controllers, BitLocker…
If you are visitor from Croatia, you can read full description of whole event at Darko’s blog, or you can find event information on Facebook.
