Windays 9 conference
Windays conference is largest conference in Croatia, organized by Microsoft Croatia. Last year there were almost 2000 visitors, who had a chance to listen almost 200 lectures about Microsoft’s technologies and ways to implement them in their working environment. For the last few years, it became business and technology conference, with lots of business lectures for managers. It has always been held in Opatija, in the last week of April.
This year there has been some changes in organization of the conference. Now, conference is divided into three parts: Windays 9 Business, Windays 9 Technology and Windays 9 Virtual. Windays 9 Business will be held from April 20th to April 21st, Windays 9 Technology will be held from April 21st to April 23rd, and Windays 9 Virtual we be held before (actually, it already started), during other two conferences and after other conferences, with special virtual day, at Friday, April 24th.
As last year, this year I’m also going to participate in Windays conference, as a member of Content team. My tasks will be writing articles and news for a Windays 9 official webpage. I already started, and it is quite easy and cool job. I am looking forward to attend this conference, because last year I had a lot of fun, I met lot of IT professionals, and I have learned very much about topics that I’m interested in (Windows Server 2008 and Microsoft virtualization). Also, I am looking forward to meet all cool guys and girls that I don’t see every day, like Vibor Cipan, Arlindo Alves, Marin Frankovic and many others.
I’m leaving for Opatija tommorow morning, and I will be travelling for more than 8 hours by bus
