How to protect Hyper-V with DPM 2010?
Protecting virtual machines is also essential as protecting physical machines. You can use System Center Data Protection Manager (DPM) to achieve that, but there is a small problem. System administrators can protect an entire Hyper-V host using the DPM Management Console, but the protection group has to be modified manually to include the new virtual machines that have come up on the Hyper-V host. If you want to automatically protect your Hyper-V environment and all its virtual machines, there are some PowerShell scripts that can help you. To download the scripts and for detailed information about the process, visit Data Protection Manager blog.
