    Hyper-V Server 2008 R2 RTM


     

    hyper-v_server_r2_screenshotEveryone is speaking about Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 RTM, but almost no one wrote anything about Hyper-V Server 2008 R2. Hyper-V Server 2008 R2 has also reached RTM version, as stated at Microsoft virtualization team blog.

    These R2 releases continue to highlight one of our core goals for Hyper-V. Simply:

    We believe everyone should have access to high performance hypervisor based virtualization. Period.
