Microsoft Hyper-V Server 2008 R2 SP1 now available
As reported on Techycentral, first service pack for Microsoft Hyper-V Server 2008 R2 is now available to download. Microsoft Hyper-V Server 2008 R2 could be describer as a “operating system” with only one role – Hyper-V. It is free, lightweight and great solution for your virtual environment. It has no GUI, so you have to create and maintain your virtual machines using Hyper-V Manager, System Center Virtual Machine Manager, Virtual IQ or some other product.
Among others Hyper-V Server 2008 R2 Sp1 contains following features:
2. Support for RemoteFX
3. Host Clustering
4. Live Migration
5. Large Memory support (Host OS) = 1TB
6. Support for up to 8 Processors (Host OS)
