What do you expect from Windows Server 2008 Foundation edition?
I see many visitors of this blog came here searching for information about Windows Foundation Server 2008. In my post Windows Server Foundation edition, I wrote something about this version. As I said, it is going to be used on low-cost servers, for those companies that don’t need full Windows Server 2008 installation and for those companies that want to buy low-cost operating system.
Windows Foundation Server 2008 will hit the market in few months, but for now, I don’t have any information about available roles, features and price. Now we can only guess which roles and features will be available, so let’s try to guess!
Please, in comments of this post write what do YOU expect from Windows Server 2008 Foundation edition, which roles would you like to see available and try to guess price of Windows Foundation Server.
