    What is Windows Server 2008?

While talking to many of my friends on college, FESB, I noticed that they really don’t know what Windows Server 2008 is. Two weeks ago, I had a lecture to students on topic “Windows Server 2008″, and I asked them a question “Can you tell me, in two words, what is Windows Server 2008″? They didn’t know, it took maybe 10-15 seconds before one student said: “operating system”. I gave him a book.

The easiest explanation of Windows Server 2008 is: It is an operating system. Of course, you don’t use this OS to install Quake 3 on it, you use it for administrating computer network. You have all tools you need coming with that OS, and you can’t install those tools on other operating systems (like Windows XP or Vista).

As I said in first post, in this blog I am going to describe all those tools, roles, functions…
