When to download Windows Server 2008 R2?
I expected to see Windows Server 2008 R2 to be available to download from MSDN and TechNet on the same date as Windows 7, but I was wrong. I don’t know why (maybe to reduce “attack” on their download servers from users who want to download Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 immediately) but Microsoft has decided to make Windows Server 2008 R2 available for download on August 14th. So, if you really need it (as me), you’ll have to wait for few more days to download new generation of Windows Server operating system.
