Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 is RTM!
After a couple of months of intensive testing, Microsoft finally announced SP1 for Windows Server 2008 R2 RTM! I already wrote a couple of posts about Dynamic memory, it’s architecture and a need for it, and I also gave two presentations about it. I tested it for a couple of times, and it proved to be a very useful technology for almost any virtualized environment. I’m glad I will be able to use it in a production environment, and I recommend it to every system administrator out there playing with Hyper-V.
SP1 will be available to Technet/MSDN subscribers on February 16th, while others will have to wait February 22nd.
